IN 2004, I first discovered the music of Pino Veneziano and I have carried it in my heart ever since. He was an amazing singer-songwriter whose music enters one's soul and draws forth a consciousness of equality, brotherhood, justice and independence. His messages are powerful; in the song, Lu Patruni e` Suvecchiu, he calls on people to be the masters of their own fate..to not look to the 'boss' to be our source of living..but to live by our own ability.
